Michael Herwitz is a 4th grader at Dows Elementary School in Irvington, NY, and is delighted to be performing in The Adventures of Zak. Michael made his Broadway debut in 2004 playing the Young Child in Dracula, the Musical at the Belasco Theatre. In the spring of 2005, he joined the original Broadway cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, where he is still playing the role of Toby. Regional theatre credits include Winthrop in The Music Man, Linus in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the JCC on the Palisades, Michael in RFKT's Workshop of Peter Pan and roles in Salute to Broadway and Carousel at Irvington Town Hall Theatre.
